London, 8th June, 2019.- Around 100 children and adults took part in ArgenKids 2019, the tribute to Maria Elena Walsh organised by the Embassy in collaboration with the Consulate of Argentina in London, the Anglo Argentine Society and the NGO Flying Seagull Project.

ARGENKIDS has already become part of the Embassy's annual calendar. The children, between 2 and 12 years old, enjoyed the performance of the Flying Seagull Project, in homage to El Twist del Mono Liso, by Maria Elena Walsh, and the parents took the opportunity to remember their childhood and connect with each other.

Flying Seagull Project is an NGO that works in children's animation and takes their shows to disadvantaged places: "We believe that it is the right of everyone, men, women or children, to put aside the concerns of life and smile for a while. We work in several countries to help bring smiles and happiness to people. We partner with local organizations, charities and community leaders in the field to identify groups that need a smile, from school classrooms to slums, from hospitals to camps of refugees. We structure our programs so that they adapt to each situation. We have carried out projects in 15 countries, including the United Kingdom, continental Europe, India, Cambodia and Ghana "
