London, 29 July – The Argentine Embassy in the United Kingdom held the 6th edition of London Goes Tango this Sunday, an annual event that has already become a fixture on London’s tango calendar and that gathered around 1,000 fans from all continents to the banks of the Thames.

 

London Goes Tango has been taking place since 2014 at iconic locations in the English capital, such as Borough Market and Shoreditch. This year we shared live music performed by Tango3, dance demonstrations and lessons for beginners by eight academies based in the UK*, and a closing milonga with the emblematic backdrop of Tower Bridge.

 

Hosted at the Scoop — next to the Mayor´s office—, this edition was programmed as a part of the Summer by the River Festival, jointly organised by the Argentine Embassy and London Bridge City, with the support of Norwegian Air.
