The Residence of the Ambassador opened its doors to the Argentine and UK polo community gathered on this occasion to celebrate the upcoming match between teams of England and Argentina participating at the Coronation Cup next Saturday 27th July.

 

Ambassador Sersale welcomed Eduardo Heguy from Asociación Argentina de Polo, and David Woodd, CEO and Stephen Hutchinson, Chairman of the Hurlingham Polo Association; and presented the grand Coronation Cup and shirts to the teams.

 

 

 

“From the Embassy we support Polo as an industry, praising the hard work of polo players, petiseros, and all surrounding trade and investment activities. There is no better example than Polo in #SportsDiplomacy because of the strong links and friendships that are forged and strengthened between countries”, said the Ambassador when introducing the teams.
