Raindance Film Festival


Raindance Film Festival is the largest independent film festival in the UK. Holding the 27th festival in 2019, Raindance is based in the heart of London’s buzzing West End film district.

This year several argentine films have been selected for Raindance and Julian Dorado, producer of the VR film Gloomy Eyes, will be present.

For more than 10 years, the Argentine Ambassador's Official Residence has opened its doors for OPEN HOUSE weekend. This year, in collaboration with MERIDIANO, the Argentine Chamber of Art Galleries, 29 artists will showcase their video and sound art around the house.

Charity Tango Show, Empanadas and Vino

Dulwich Constitutional Club

This event will be to raise funds for Down’s South London, a charity that focuses on regular early intervention for children with Down’s Syndrome. They provide multidisciplinary therapy from a highly specialist team of therapists: a Physio Therapist, an Occupational Therapist, and a Speech and Language therapist with the aim the help them to achieve mainstream education, or the best possible education each child can get given their condition.

Esta conferencia será dictada en Español / This conference will be held in SPANISH

José de San Martín, libertador de Argentina, Chile y Perú, es sin dudas una figura central de la historia Latinoamericana. Esta conferencia de la prestigiosa historiadora Carolina Carman analizará las representaciones sobre San Martín en la historiografía, siguiendo su registro visual, y poniendo el foco principalmente en dos museos: el Museo Histórico Nacional de Argentina y el Museo Sanmartiniano de Boulogne-sur-Mer, Francia.


Carolina Carman estudió historia en la Facultad de Filosofia y Letras de la Universidad de Buenos Aires, donde actualmente es profesora de Historia Argentina del siglo XIX. Su libro Los origenes del Museo Histórico Nacional (Buenos Aires, Prometeo, 2013) es una contribución original a la historia de los museos de Argentina y Sudamérica. 
Su principal posición actual es como directora del Museo Roca – Instituto de Investigaciones Históricas
